Unfinished projects can leave a useful learning record
Record decisions and questions even when no final product exists.
Two tested base designs and an unresolved question may document more thinking than a finished object alone. Save the decisions and comparisons while they are available, allowing the project record to reflect development rather than just completion.
Two tested base designs can show investigation before a tower is completed.
Record the process that exists so far
Save evidence of decisions, tests and questions. The record can show a developing process even when no polished object is available to display.
Capture the current state. Note reasoning. Save the next question.
What was learned so far? Use annotated sketches.
Product completion is not the only useful record.
