Portfolio and Project Display Templates

Print a portfolio page or project display with a large work-sample box and prompts for describing actions, changes and a next idea.

The large work-sample box stays blank for a drawing or paper sample. Describe the activity without names or identifying details.

Choose portfolio, display or both, then create the pages.

Keep a piece of work and its story

Allow about 5–10 minutes after an activity, with the printed page, drawing tools and a paper sample if available. The portfolio page leaves an 85 mm box for a drawing or sample and two 30 mm note spaces. Ask what the group tried or changed, then what they would revisit. A paper bridge entry might show two folds, note which shape held the counters, and propose a wider base for another test.

The display page uses the same roomy layout to show the work, describe materials and changes, and invite a visitor question or next idea. Younger children can point, draw, demonstrate or use a scribe. Older children can compare attempts and explain a change. Offer observing, assistance or passing, and keep different explanations when the group disagrees.

Choose what may be shared

Ask permission before recording words, attaching work or displaying the page. Use only material the participants choose to share. Do not require names, portraits, private experiences or a finished product. Check that a sample does not already contain identifying details. Use your own secure processes for individual records and any required permissions; the website does not upload or store samples, photos or handwritten responses.

Record what actually happened separately from interpretation. A completed sheet is not proof of a learning outcome. For planning before an activity, use the collaborative project sheets; for a short group discussion, use the reflection prompts.

Print the pages you need

Choose portfolio, display or both. The large work box stays unlined; the two note spaces can use drawing boxes or five writing lines each. Select A4 or US Letter and print at 100% scale with browser headers and footers off. Save settings keeps only the title, activity, page choice, note layout and paper size in a local file. Add a work sample by hand after printing.
