Mime makes an imaginary object's properties visible
Make actions consistent with the object's invented properties.
Decide the object's size and weight in the fiction before acting. Consistent gestures help an audience understand what is being handled, while an unexplained change from heavy to weightless can disrupt the scene's logic.
An imaginary heavy box should not suddenly become weightless without a story reason.
Keep the imagined properties consistent
Define size and weight. Perform consistent actions. Invite interpretation.
Agree on the imaginary object's size and resistance. Consistent actions help the viewer understand something that is not physically present.
Are the actions consistent? Use hand-only gestures.
This is expressive play, not a physical strength task.
