Leave the next maker a usable engineering handover
Make the next action clear when another child continues a model.
Another child may join without seeing the earlier construction. Identify completed joins, loose components and the next proposed step so continuation depends on a clear record rather than guessing the original makers' intentions.
'Side supports attached; roof tabs not joined' supports continuation.
Record the current state, not just the goal
Record completed parts. Name the next step. Leave labelled components.
Record the state of joins and loose components clearly. A handover should let another maker continue without guessing what has been completed.
Avoid assuming everyone saw the first stage. Can the next maker proceed?
Use a photo note.
