Design a fictional Moon base and label the assumptions
Solve an invented design problem while labelling unverified features as imagination.
A paper base gives children an engaging design problem without requiring them to solve life support. State the invented mission, organise useful spaces and mark imagined systems as untested ideas rather than validated engineering.
List the design assumptions explicitly. The task practises planning for a fictional brief rather than validating a habitable engineering solution.
Keep the design brief separate from feasibility claims
Set the fictional mission. Choose useful spaces. Annotate assumptions.
A model may reserve separate work and rest areas.
Which part is an invented solution? Provide room cards.
A drawing does not establish life-support feasibility.
