Language sharing should be volunteered, not assigned
Discuss language information from authorised sources and voluntary contributions.
Provide verified examples and invite optional contributions without inferring anyone's language from appearance or name. A child may choose to listen, share something small or decline without explaining family background.
Make all sharing optional and avoid assigning a language role. Verified examples can support learning without making any child a community representative.
Keep the contributor in control
A child may choose to share a greeting without explaining family background.
Name each source. Present pronunciation support. Allow optional participation.
Appearance does not identify language. Was participation voluntary?
Offer listening-only participation.
