Three process photographs should show three meaningful moments
Capture meaningful decisions rather than only a final product.
Select a beginning, a decision or revision, and a later state. The middle image earns its place when it reveals something about the making, rather than offering another nearly identical view of the finished object.
A rearranged collage image can document a composition decision.
Choose the change worth documenting
Choose process images that reveal a decision. Three nearly identical final photographs provide less information about how the work developed.
Select a starting image. Record a change. Add a maker explanation.
Avoid including identifying information without the service's process. What does the middle image reveal?
Use sketches instead of photographs.
