Spot-the-Difference Builder
Create two picture boards with three or five grayscale differences and a separate numbered answer sheet.
Keep the same seed and settings to recreate the same picture pair.
Create two picture boards to compare.
Compare the picture boards
Children look at Picture A and Picture B, then circle each changed place in Picture B. Starter boards change a picture or leave it out. Challenge boards can also make a picture smaller or turn it. All differences work in black and white. Partners can explain where a change is: top or bottom row, then first to fourth position. Cover the other row with scrap paper to compare fewer pictures at once.
Keep the numbered answer sheet separate. It marks each changed place and describes what changed. Use a topic as the title and leave out personal information.
Print or save a PDF
Select A4 or US Letter, then choose your printer or Save as PDF. Use 100% scale and turn off browser headers and footers. Check both picture boards before making copies.
