Matching Worksheet Builder

Make custom text pairs or shape-to-word matches, with shuffled choices and a separate answer sheet.

Keep the same seed and inputs to recreate the same sheet. Do not enter children’s names or private information.

Check the list, then create your printable.

Make one clear match for each item

Write 3–12 pairs as question | match, one pair per line. Each label can contain up to 100 characters. Keep labels distinct on both sides. Use fewer pairs per page for a simpler task; every pair remains in the worksheet. Read the items aloud, allow pointing or work with a partner. For an extension, ask children to explain each match or write a new pair. The shape option uses six built-in outline drawings; uploaded pictures are not supported.

Save a PDF or print

Select A4 or US Letter before printing. In the print dialog, choose your printer or Save as PDF, use 100% scale and turn off browser headers and footers. Check the preview before handing out copies.
