Choose connected words and clear clues
Write 3–12 lines as answer | clue. Answers use 2–15 letters, without spaces or punctuation; accents are converted to letters. Clues can contain up to 100 characters. Words need shared letters to form one connected grid. If every answer cannot fit, change the seed or edit the list; no words are silently dropped. Use the word bank or partner reading for support. Older children can solve from clues alone or write clues for a partner. Large grids or long clues use a second child page. Review your custom clues and answers before sharing.
Save a PDF or print
Select A4 or US Letter before printing. In the print dialog, choose your printer or Save as PDF, use 100% scale and turn off browser headers and footers. Check the preview before handing out copies.
