Comic Strip Builder
Make three, four or six numbered comic panels with speech or thought bubbles, caption lines and your own story brief.
Use one prompt per selected panel, up to 80 characters each. Prompts print on a separate planning page, so they do not take drawing space.
Create your comic panels to see the printable.
Tell a story in pictures
Choose the title and story brief, then print the panels. Children draw events in numbered order and add dialogue or captions. Three large panels suit a beginning, a change and an ending; six panels give room for more events. Younger children can tell the story aloud while an adult records words, or leave out writing spaces. Partners can take turns drawing panels and agree what happens next. Use fictional characters and leave out personal information.
