Weather now and weather forecast: read the time reference
Separate a current record from a prediction about later conditions.
A dated observation and tomorrow's forecast concern different moments. Put them beside each other so children can explain whether a sentence reports a condition already seen or predicts one for a later period.
'Cloudy at 3 pm' reports a moment; tomorrow's forecast concerns another time.
Match each statement to its time
Read the date and time attached to each statement. A forecast for a later period should not be checked against an earlier observation.
Identify each time reference. Compare their purposes. Write a current observation.
A forecast is not an observation. Which statement describes now?
