About
After School Care Printables was created to make activity planning easier for educators, coordinators, and caregivers working in before school care, after school care (OSHC), homeschool groups, and holiday or vacation care programs.
The site is founded and created by Ben Ferdinands, who spent years working directly in before and after school care environments and more than a decade running holiday and vacation care programs for children and young people. Through this experience, Ben saw firsthand how challenging it can be to plan meaningful activities within real-world constraints — mixed-age groups, limited preparation time, changing attendance, and diverse learning needs.
Drawing on both hands-on program leadership and decades of design and technology experience, After School Care Printables focuses on creating resources that are practical, flexible, and genuinely usable in busy education settings.
